Most of us believe that our valuables are meant to be handed down to the next generation. As one of the largest downsizing and home liquidation companies in S. E. Fla. we watch as the next generation has no desire to acquire their parents possessions for lack of the same tastes or lack of knowledge of value.
A better strategy is to gift the items that they are interested in and then monetize those they are not. The money might come in handy for all of you to enjoy in each others company.
